Timothy H. Bellas
Tim Bellas has been a practicing attorney for the past 39 years. During his long and distinguished career, Tim has served as Deputy District Attorney in Sacramento and Stockton, California, as Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the Attorney General in Saipan, as the Staff Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the United States Trustee, in Guam, and as a Superior Court Judge. He continues to serve as a Justice and Judge Pro Tem of the Supreme and Superior Courts of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. As a private practitioner, Tim focused on assisting clients with business, corporate, and real estate matters, as well as performing related litigation.
Tim was certified as a mediator by the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada over twenty years ago and has successfully mediated numerous disputes. Tim served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and was instrumental in drafting the first rules on mediation in that jurisdiction.
Soon to be retired to the Puget Sound area, Tim looks forward to putting his significant legal knowledge and talent to work through OnPoint Dispute Resolution. He is available by appointment for mediation or arbitration assignments.
